Kit Carson Lodge has been a tradition for travelers and families alike for decades; the bulk of our summer guests are families that have been visiting for over five generations! We invite you to celebrate your family with us, whether it’s a birthday, anniversary, promotion, or baby shower. If you’re starting a new family of your own, we welcome you to begin your journey at our Silver Lake wedding venue.

With the stunning views of the lake and mountains as a backdrop and a cathedral of towering pines overhead, Kit Carson Lodge is a wonderful place to celebrate your day. A destination wedding in Kit Carson is made unforgettable by this breathtaking natural setting and timeless charm. Please note that Kit Carson Lodge operates seasonally from May through October, and all weddings and events must be scheduled during this period. Kit Carson Lodge is prepared to accommodate groups from as small as two and as large as 150, if you choose to do a rental of the entire property for your event.

All of our cabins have fully-equipped kitchens should you desire to make your own meals or handle your own catering, and we also have our on-site restaurant that can accommodate a variety of menus and dietary needs.

Our 13-acre property has plenty of space for a cozy or romantic corner with stunning backdrops to pick from, whether you want the lake, the mountains, the forest, or a combination of all three.
